I was born in Washington, D.C., but raised in Victoria as a West Coaster. I had the opportunity to return to the United States to attend the University of Washington in Seattle. There, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Geography, building on my love for maps and landscapes. After completing my B.A., I chose to return to Canada to obtain my law degree at the University of Victoria with a Concentration in Environmental Law and Sustainability. While at UVIC I also served on the Environmental Law Centre Society as the Student Chair of the Board; where we worked with non-profit groups and First Nations to find solutions for their environmental law issues.
After graduating UVIC Law, I articled and practiced at a boutique real estate firm in Victoria, where I developed skills and experience in the field of real estate law, including work on residential real estate and commercial development projects. At Sitka Law Group, I serve my clients in the areas of commercial development, residential real estate and corporate matters. Ensuring my clients feel protected and informed during their work with us is paramount.
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring all that Victoria has to offer, from the forest trails by bicycle or the water by paddleboard. During the rainy months I enjoy a good book, strong cup of tea and home baking.
