I was born and raised in Victoria. I am bilingual – I was raised speaking English and Punjabi. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Victoria and subsequently moved to Toronto, Ontario where I completed law school. During my second year of law school I made the decision to leave the cold winters of Ontario and return to the place I consider home.
I articled and practised at a firm in downtown Victoria where I gained knowledge and experience in the areas of wills and incapacity planning, estate administration, real estate law, employment law and corporate and commercial law. Since being called to the BC Bar in 2015 I have focused my practice in the areas of real estate, estate planning and estate administration.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking the coastal trails and volunteering for various local non-profit organizations. I began volunteering at the age of 14 and currently I am particularly interested in organizations that advocate for individuals who are directly or indirectly impacted by mental illness.
