I was born in Saskatoon, SK and grew up throughout Western Canada. After completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria with a double major in Philosophy and Psychology, I spent 8 months teaching at a school in Hyderabad, India. I moved back to the prairies to study law at the University of Saskatchewan. During my legal studies, I participated in the Dean’s Forum on Access to Justice and Dispute Resolution, and the Clinical Law Intensive Program, which operated in partnership with the Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon Inner City Inc. (CLASSIC) and provided me with the opportunity to represent low-income clients in a variety of legal matters. I also spent a semester in Australia where I studied topics in international law. I articled and completed my first years of practice at a business law firm in Saskatoon prior to moving back to Victoria in 2018. While practicing in Saskatchewan, I became a member of the Saskatchewan Access to Justice Working Group and Saskatoon Search and Rescue. After returning to Victoria, I became involved with the Canadian Bar Association (BC Branch) Commercial & Real Estate – Vancouver Island Section as a member-at-large for 2019-2021, and the Project Zero Incubator Program for 2019, 2020, and 2021 – which supports entrepreneurs to build, develop, or create environmentally sustainable businesses. I have subsequently become involved with the Canadian Bar Association (BC Branch) Civil Litigation – Vancouver Island Section as Vice-Chair.

I greatly enjoy assisting clients with their personal and professional legal needs. I operate a mixed practice of law focusing on the areas of personal injury litigation, general civil litigation, corporate & commercial law, real estate law, and wills and estate planning.  Having a mixed practice enables me to provide comprehensive legal services to clients and recommend practical solutions to legal problems.

In my spare time, I enjoy all forms of outdoor activities, traveling to various countries, and playing music.
