I was born and raised on the West Coast. I grew up in Sooke, spending my youth cycling through the back hills, swimming at the Sooke Potholes and hiking the coastal trails. When I wasn’t exploring the outdoors, I was working in my parents’ Health Food Store and playing sports including soccer and tennis.
I obtained a Diploma in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Camosun College then transferred to Dalhousie University where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. Prior to and while attending the University of Victoria for Law School, I travelled extensively to every continent but Antarctica.
I was called to the BC Bar in 2010 and have focused my practice on real estate and corporate law. I believe that specializing in these two areas allow me to take a holistic approach to my clients’ needs as most clients tend to have some overlap between these areas of law. Furthermore, and given my entrepreneurial background, I understand that it is very important to take a practical approach to addressing clients’ requirements.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my young family, spending time in the outdoors and tending to my honey bees.
