A lifelong Victorian, I grew up exploring the beautiful beaches, forests, and mountains of Victoria and Vancouver Island. I stayed in Victoria for university, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy with honours.
Following my undergraduate studies and prior to attending law school, I worked as Sitka’s receptionist for eight months, where I gained practical insight into the day-to-day operations of a law firm. In 2020, I began the J.D. program at UVic and obtained my degree in 2022. I returned to Sitka to begin my articles in January of 2023, and was called to the bar in January of 2024. My articles provided me with experience in a range of areas, including residential and commercial real estate and corporate law. I hope to grow my experience in these areas, serving clients with the integrity that characterizes Sitka Law.
Outside of work, I serve on the Board of Rowing BC, working with others who are passionate about rowing to promote leadership and excellence through the sport. In my leisure time I enjoy outdoor pursuits such as rowing and hiking, reading about classical and medieval history, contributing to the Carolingian Canon Law Project, and spending time with my family.
