Victoria Pitt  |  Retired

Growing up in NS, I attended the University of King’s College and Dalhousie University. After finishing my Law degree, I married a West coaster and after some discussion, we agreed to make Victoria our home.

I was called to the bar in 1982 and practiced first as a sole practitioner and then together with Bob Salmond and Derek Ashurst at Salmond Ashurst for about 25 years prior to that firm merging with Sitka.

I served in the Naval Reserve for many years, retiring from active service when my children were born.

I am active in the community and have been involved with many boards including, the Maritime Museum of British Columbia Foundation,  the Oakland Community Association, the Canadian Federation of University Women (Victoria) and the Rotary Club of Oak Bay.

I pride myself on providing my clients with knowledge of their options (with their upsides and downsides) so that my clients have the info they need to make the best decision for them and their families.

I have been married for 38 years and have two grown boys. I am physically active and spend my free time working with my rotary club and sometimes knitting.
