I was born and raised in Vancouver and moved to Victoria in the summer of 2022. I earned a B.A. in philosophy and a J.D. from the University of British Columbia, and an M.A. from Simon Fraser University. I was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2006 and my practice is dedicated to corporate law, real estate, and wills and estates.
Prior to working with Sitka law, I worked for a large, national firm in downtown Vancouver as a securities lawyer. I represented public companies and underwriters in corporate finance transactions with a focus on the mining and energy sectors. I also routinely advised clients on ongoing corporate and securities compliance matters, and corporate governance. I also taught law in Vancouver at Capilano University’s School of Business and Legal Studies programs and Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s School of Business.
In addition to my law practice, I continue to teach law courses at Camosun College. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and getting more familiar with Victoria and the surrounding areas.
